Monday 28th October – Friday 1st November 2024
• Aaron Thomas, 19, of West Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 15 months, fined £295 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £118 surcharge.
• Bradley Tolfrey, 24, of Newport Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was ordered to pay £997.53 compensation.
• Sebastian Rupp, 45, of Tandy Close, Ryde pleaded guilty to drink driving (67). He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £438 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £175 surcharge.
• Olajide Olarewaju-Moore, 29, of Dexter Close, Canterbury, Kent pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £865 and ordered to pay £300 costs with a £346 surcharge.
• Tudor Radcliffe, 53, of Newstone Farmhouse, Blackwater, Newport pleaded guilty to failing to comply with endorsable section 36 traffic sign (no entry). He was handed 3 penalty points on his licence, fined £66 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £26 surcharge.
• Louis Roulston, 34, of Mulvany Court, Cumberland Road, Southsea, Portsmouth pleaded guilty to drug driving (cocaine), drug driving (cannabis), drug driving (BZE) and driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for 28 months and made subject to a 12-month community order with 100 hours of unpaid work attached. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Frankie Hobbs, 20, care of Chatsworth Avenue, Hazlemere, Surrey pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine, possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – ketamine. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Michael Knight, 32, of Brickfield Cottages, East Cowes Road, East Cowes pleaded guilty to failing to stop after a road accident, drink driving, drug driving (BZE) and driving without insurance. He was handed a 8-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months and banned from driving for 30 months. He must complete 15 rehabilitation days and a 6-month drug treatment order. He was ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Simon Hilton-Dale, 45, care of The Control Tower, Mill Lane, Binfield, Newport pleaded guilty to sending by public communication network an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message / matter. He was handed a 12-month community order with 10 rehabilitation days attached. He was fined £338 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
• Cejan Whiteside, 24, of Victoria Road, Newport pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). She was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £233 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £93 surcharge.
• Michael Weaving, 40, of Esplanade, Ryde pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for 11 months, fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £80 surcharge.
• Sam Tilbury, 36, of Salters Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to drug driving (ketamine). He was banned from driving for 19 months and made subject to a 12-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 50 hours of unpaid work attached.
• Timothy Layfield, 55, of High Street, Wootton Bridge pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was made subject to a 12-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days attached. He was ordered to pay a £200 fine, £100 compensation, £85 costs and a £114 surcharge.
• Amber Banham-Gage, 22, of George Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to individual fail to comply with a community protection notice. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Amber Gagen, 25, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to individual fail to comply with a community protection notice. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Gary Dauncey, 53, of Carisbrooke High Street, Newport pleaded guilty to detainee / person charged fail / refuse to provide a sample for Class ‘A’ drug test and theft from a shop. He was fined £200.
