Monday 16th September – Friday 20th September 2024
• Dominic Crumby, 26, of Daniel Street, Ryde was found guilty of assault by beating. He was handed an 18-month community order with 30 rehabilitation days attached. He was ordered to pay £300 compensation.
• Donna Ashby, 57, of Sunset Close, Freshwater pleaded guilty to common assault of an emergency worker and being drunk and disorderly in a public place. She was fined £140 and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £85 costs and a £56 surcharge.
• Norbert Haczyk, 37, of The Strand, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He was fined £945, handed 10 penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay £620 costs with a £378 surcharge.
• Keanu Banks, 26, of Union Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to drug driving (BZE). He was banned from driving for 17 months and made subject to a 12-month community order with 80 hours unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Benjamin Blenkinsop, 22, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to being carried in / on a motor vehicle taken without the owners consent. He was banned from driving for 6 months, fined £180 and ordered to pay £74 costs with a £72 surcharge.
• Daniel Tredinnick, 48, of Western Road, Shanklin pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was ordered to pay £1,440 compensation and was made subject to a 12 month conditional discharge. He was also ordered to pay £26 surcharge.
• Marcus Burgin, 25, of Camp Road, Freshwater pleaded guilty to drug driving (BZE), drink driving, driving without due care and attention and failing to stop. He was banned from driving for 36 months and made subject to an 18-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 200 hours of unpaid work attached. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Leon Phillips, 31, of Dairy Crest Drive, Newport pleaded guilty to driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road / in a public place without due care and attention. He was handed 6 penalty points, fined £320 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £128 surcharge.
