Monday 16th September – Friday 20th September 2024
• Oscar Whittington, 20, of Fellows Road, Cowes pleaded guilty to drug driving (Cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £48 surcharge.
• Lowman Lennon, 19, of Staplers Road, Newport pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Paul Wright, 56, of Pyle Street, Newport pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the interim notification requirements of the Sex Offenders Register. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Onut Olteanu, 35, of Brightside Avenue, Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place. They were fined £153 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
• Louis Callen, 23, of Woodside Road, Wootton Bridge pleaded guilty to using a handheld mobile phone / device while driving a motor vehicle on a road. He was handed 6 penalty points, fined £320 and ordered to pay £120 costs with a £128 surcharge.
• Daniel Carpenter, 38, of Downlands Crescent, Ventnor pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
• Robbie Burrows, 33, of Wintergreen Gardens, Newport pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £640 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £256 surcharge.
• Donna Moore, 44, of Fort Street, Sandown pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £60 compensation and £85 costs.
• Joshua Hunt, 28, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, theft from a shop and common assault. He was handed an 8-week custodial sentence and ordered to pay £150 compensation.
• Daniel Sweet, 33, of Newport Road, Lake pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was handed a 9-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £19 compensation and £85 costs/
• Andrew Hill, 34, of Slade Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to 4x theft from a shop. He was handed a 18-month community order with 75 hours of unpaid work and 25 rehabilitation days attached. He was ordered to pay £927.75 compensation.
• Chad Cooper, 24, of Bellevue Road, Cowes pleaded guilty to drug driving (BZE). He was banned from driving for 3 years, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
• Joseph Bradshaw, 46, of High Street, Wootton Bridge pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class A – MDMA, possession of a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis / Cannabis Resin and possession of a controlled drug of Class B – Amphetamine. He was handed a 12-month community order with 80 hours unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation days attached. He must also pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge.
• Victoria Willis, 53, of Medeway, Lake pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis / Cannabis Resin. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £32 surcharge.
• James Smith, 40, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class A – Heroin and possession of a class C controlled drug. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
