A 4×4 Land Rover has been severely damaged following a collision in Arreton this afternoon (Monday).
Emergency services were called to the scene at Gore Basin between Arreton and Blackwater at around 13:45 after the red off-road vehicle collided into the back of a cement mixer.
Island Echo understands the cement mixer had stopped to turn right into the new biomass plant site when the incident occurred.
No one has been seriously injured in the crash and the road remains open in both directions.
