A known Islander is to appear before Magistrates in the New Year charged with theft from a shop. Daniel Kilshaw, 42, now of Sunset Close in Freshwater, was charged with theft from a shop after stealing £286 worth of clothing from Sports Direct in Newport earlier this month. Kilshaw last featured on Island Echo in October. He has been bailed with conditions to appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on 12th January. A spokesperson from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“Local teams are working hard to support retailers and businesses, and proactively target shoplifters across the Island.”
