Spirits haven’t been dampened by the heavy rain showers that have struck Day 1 of the Isle of Wight Festival 2017.
Revellers made their way into the campsites at 12 noon after passing through heightened security, with tents filling the fields lining Fairlee Road. However, it wasn’t long until the rain moved in just as The Sex Pissed Dolls took to the Big Top as the first act of the weekend.
The highlight of the night for many was the electric performance from Razorlight. And of course it wouldn’t be Festival without Starsailor making an appearance – they were welcomed onto the stage by Mr Festival himself, John Giddings.
