Isle of Wight band The Optimists have released their latest single alongside an accompanying music video.
Running Around is available to stream now and is described by the band as their ‘hookiest’ track yet.
Written by the group, the song was produced by Sugar House Productions, a company who have worked with major artists including Viola Beach and Larkins.
Promising contagious melodies and guitar-driven hooks, the music video for the song was directed and filmed by Will Baker.

Speaking about the new single, frontman Matt Read said:
“Running Around captures the moment when you decide to stop the games and take control.
“It’s a relatable track that reflects the journey of breaking free from emotional manipulation.”
The Optimists have recently performed in London and Southampton and also featured on the lineup for September’s Warrior Festival, which saw local bands and tribute acts take over Robin Hill.
Earlier this year, they headlined a night at Newport’s Strings Bar and Venue for the 2nd edition of the BBC Sounds of the South event.
