Police on the Isle of Wight are investigating an attempted burglary in Totland Bay during the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).
Hampshire Constabulary say the incident occurred at around 04:00 and that 3 men were seen acting suspiciously in a van. 1 of the men has been described as aged in his 30’s with dark hair and of stocky build.
Several Police units descended on the area before sunrise and the National Police Air Service Helicopter circled overhead for around 30 minutes.
It has been confirmed that nothing was taken in the incident.
