An inquest has been opened into the death of a 63-year-old Leicestershire man who was found at a hotel in Yarmouth earlier this year.
The Isle of Wight Coroner’s Court has opened an inquest into the death of Sean Michael McReynolds, 63, of Watling Farm, Leicestershire.
The court heard that Mr McReynolds died on 21st March 2026 after being found at The George Hotel in Yarmouth.
A post-mortem examination concluded that the medical cause of death was cardiac arrhythmia caused by cardiotoxicity due to the effects of alcohol and cocaine.
Coroner Caroline Sumeray adjourned the inquest. A full hearing has been listed for 5th January 2027.
