Ice on a notorious road on the outskirts of Ryde led to a minor collision involving a car earlier this morning (Sunday).
Police were called to Stroudwood Road at around 08:00 after reports of a vehicle having collided with a hedge lining the carriageway.
No one was seriously injured in the incident and the car was recovered.
Ice warning signs have now been placed at the scene of the crash by Island Roads.
