Staff and children at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Carisbrooke donned their pyjamas last Friday (15th November) in support of this year’s Children in Need appeal.
The school community came together with a pyjama-wearing mufti day to raise money for the cause. Other fundraising activities included a Pudsey-themed bake sale run by Year 6 children and the sale of official Children in Need merchandise.
Headteacher Maggie Sanderson said:
“Thank you to all the children, parents and staff who supported our fundraiser. The children really enjoyed coming into school in their pyjamas and onesies.
“As a school we are really pleased to be able to support this event and demonstrate to the children the importance of raising money for children who are in need of some help.”
The school raised a total of £400.
