Police are today appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 12-year-old girl was injured in a collision with a car in Wootton yesterday (Monday).
The incident occurred between 18:40 and 19:10 in the vicinity of Wootton Bridge.
The young girl suffered minor head injuries and was taken to St Mary’s Hospital by ambulance for treatment, where she was released later that evening.
The unnamed female suffered swelling and bruising above the left eye and a bruised right thumb, however the 27-year-old male driver of a silver Nissan Pixo involved in the collision was uninjured.
