Children attending Oakfield Primary School will get at least another day off due to a gas leak at the Ryde school.
Oakfield Primary says that the school is unable to open tomorrow (Monday) as planned, after the Christmas break, due to a gas leak.
The issue has left the building without heating, hot water and a working kitchen.
Engineers are due to attend the school tomorrow, with hopes that the doors can reopen again for 2026 on Tuesday.
A Parentmail notice is being sent to families.
