Former Isle of Wight man Oliver Tatton has been charged with a string of sexual offences – including the rape of an underage girl.
Tatton, formerly of Shanklin but now of Worcester, has been charged with no less than 9 sexual offences.
The well-known dog agility trainer, who was involved in a number of local clubs here on the Island, appeared before Magistrates this week but did not enter any pleas to the charges against him.
The charges include the rape of a girl aged 13-15, 2 counts of causing/inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, 2 counts of sexual activity with a child, engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child and sexual communication with a child.
The 30-year-old also faces charges of sending a communication of an indecent nature and sexual assault of an adult female.
It’s alleged that Tatton committed the offences on dates between 2013 and 2018.
Ollie Tatton has been bailed to appear before Worcester Crown Court on 9th June.

I Used to go to school with him.He was a good friend.Not sure how he’s going to get on the mainland. As Being a proper homegrown calkhead.They seem to ship us of this island when we do wrong.Then we come back.But he does have mental issues.So will get less time.Hope he’s ok…

All so quick to condem the man when you don’t know the facts, and I hope he is OK, and everyone else involved in this, and the question is why has it taken 9 years and 4 years for this to be reported
absolutely priceless – brad, those of us normal people in society take a dim view of anyone who defends a nonce – you know why…. because those that defend nonces are seen as no different to the perpetrators and may also have something to hide.(except their solicitors – how they sleep at night, is anyones guess)

Another nonce I went to school with. Thats Townley, Jupe, and now Tatton who are of my classmates who have gone to at least court for sexual assault/rape/underage stuff that I know of. COWES CLASS 2008 REPRESENT.
