UPDATED: Firefighters are this lunchtime (Tuesday) tackling a fire at the Allendale Equestrian Centre between Godshill and Rookley.
Two pumping appliances from Newport Fire Station and a water bowser from Ventnor Fire Station are currently attending the incident off Newport Road after being alerted to a small fire just before 12:20.
UPDATE @ 13:21 – Fire crews have successfully extinguished the fire, which developed from a log burner.
Firefighters donned breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to bring the fire under control.
No animals have been injured and the business remains open as normal.
