A revised timetable will be in operation on Island Line between Christmas Eve and 4th January, it has been confirmed.
The last train on Christmas Eve from Ryde to Shanklin will be the 19:49 from Ryde Pier Head, with the last train from Shanklin being the 20:19 to Ryde St John’s.
As in previous years, there will be no service on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
A Saturday service will be in operation from Monday 27th to Friday 31st (New Year’s Eve), with a Sunday service set for New Year’s Day and Sunday 2nd January.
Monday 3rd January will see a Saturday service in operation before Island Line returns to normal on Tuesday 4th January 2022.

so – fastcat runs on boxing day, but you have to walk the pier. Buses are running – why not the train.
