There was plenty to do in Brading this Easter thanks to activities for all ages organised by Brading Residents’ Association.
‘Seek and Find’ was a challenge set by Brading Residents’ Association giving residents of Brading and surrounding areas an opportunity to learn about Brading and its community. Using clues and pictures a trail was followed recognising and recording architectural items, street furniture and interesting information en route.
Stuart and Dayna of The Hungry Bear restaurant in Brading High Street kindly donated a prize of a family roast dinner platter which was won by Michele and Mark Pearce of Station Road. The association hopes to repeat the event next year.
Locals, both young and old, enjoyed an Easter-themed colouring activity with templates designed by Lucy Bell. The community event follows on from the well supported Brading Happy Hearts and Festival of Stars. These works of art were displayed around the town, being found by those taking their daily exercise.
