The paddling pool at East Cowes Esplanade has been closed due to a blocked pipe, the Town Council has confirmed.
Children were left feeling somewhat blue last month when the paint used to spruce up the free-to-use pool started coming off, as previously reported by Island Echo.
Now, a blocked pipe has led to the gates being locked once again.
A spokesperson for East Cowes Town Council says that the blocked pipe prevents the pool being operated safely.
It’s unknown when the paddling pool will re-open – not that it would be that popular on a day like today!
