Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council is inviting local residents to a ‘Consultation Café’ on Friday (7th November) as part of an ongoing public consultation.
This is a chance to meet local councillors, share your views, and help shape the future of your community in a friendly, informal environment.
Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council has launched a public consultation to find out what local people would like to see in the future of the County town. The consultation focuses on key local issues, including transport, hardship support, the environment, public spaces, and community facilities and asks residents to identify what matters to them most.
Residents are invited to enjoy free refreshments whilst chatting with council members between 15:00-19:00 at 64 High Street, Newport, with brief presentations at 15:30 and 17:30.
Councillors have been holding drop-in sessions around Newport & Carisbrooke since the consultation launched in October, speaking to residents and asking them to complete the short survey, which includes the chance to win 1 of 10 £10 gift vouchers.
A spokesperson for Newport & Carisbrooke Community Council has said:
“We have had a fantastic response from residents so far. We continue to encourage residents of all ages to complete the survey, tell us what matters most to them and what they would like us focus on in the years to come.”
