Police on the Isle of Wight have seized 2 electric motorbikes in the Sandown area after they were seen being ridden by males wearing balaclavas.
The incident occurred on Saturday (3rd January), with officers from the Roads Policing Unit taking action after spotting the bikes in the local area.
Assistance from the Police drone unit helped locate the individuals and the bikes, leading to both Surron electric motorbikes being seized.
They were located at Battery Gardens, between Sandown and Lake.
Isle of Wight Police say the riders were wearing balaclavas at the time.

Wonder if these males are the ones caught in Ryde dealing drugs recently ?
Is the Surron bike now a choice of vehicle for miscreants ?
I’ve seen bikes down ryde sea front never once been bad from what I’ve seen and you lot just gotta be thankful it’s not like how it is in London or anywhere else there just try rob you or take your phone so be happy that u got ur phone to comment about these bikes instead of being sad bout someone taking it off you so count urself lucky it ain’t like that done there
About time, now they need to have a look at Ryde
Absolutely, they are rife in Ryde and yes it is a vehicle of choice for drug dealers to use, county lines have been using them for the past five years, and how else would a young teenager be able to afford a 5k machine!!!!
For one Surron haven’t been out for 5 years and they are not use for drug deals the isle of white has noting for the teenager to do name one fun thing for a teen on this island so they get there parents to buy or save money all year it something u can’t just think there riding Surrons to drug deal u sad person and there are not 5k there are like 2k to 1.7k on Facebook so these kids aren’t spending that much
I have witnessed this firsthand on sandown high street when about 5 were riding up the road and turned right onto mevile street the wrong way, I saw a police officer a few days later and told him about them.
