I have just returned home from a friends this
evening in Wootton and whilst driving home a
Numpty overtook me along Briddlesford Road.
It is no wonder so many accidents happen along
this cameraless lawless dangerous road.
20mph islandwide will STOP the B’stards speeding.
I imagine the numpty was trying to make reasonable progress after being stuck behind a sanctimonious prig crawling along at 20 mph.
No the Numpty was a lawless uneducated B’stard
who doesn’t respect the speed limit.
The sooner speed cameras are rolled out islandwide the better.
We need to get these B’stards off the road.
Well said
I can only imagine you are one of the speeding
numpties, if not why be frightened of 20mph
Islandwide.
It is fair for everyone, what’s the rush, relax and chill
at 20mph you will still reach your destination.
Assuming you practise what you (endlessly) preach, you drive everywhere at 20mph at the most, while you know full well that many island roads connecting towns and villages have limits between 40-60mph. The local authority sets the speed limit, not you, so if you insist on slow poking everywhere don’t be surprised if you are overtaken. Nobody is condoning speeding, and of course it’s often appropriate to go slower than the posted limit if conditions are poor, but you are advocating a 20 limit on the Military Road for example on a dry, sunny day with light traffic. I suspect you actually make the roads more dangerous by deliberately holding other drivers up with your holier-than-thou attitude.
You have friends?
