COWES COMPANY CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF FLAGSHIP PRODUCT

Isle of Wight-based company Yokogawa Marex is celebrating over 2 decades since the launch of its flagship software product, Exaquantum.

Over the past 20 years, Exaquantum has become one of the most comprehensive Plant Information Management System (PIMS) available for process industries worldwide. The software collects and integrates information from many different sources within an organisation, which enables global production facilities, such as oil refineries and chemical/petrochemical plants, to access all their operational data in a clear and precise format.

Yokogawa Marex is part of Yokogawa Electric Corporation, a major global process automation company based in Japan, boasting 20,000 employees in more than 200 offices around the world. Based in Cowes, they have a portfolio of more than 30 software solutions, with over 3,000 Exaquantum software licenses deployed in countries all over the world, generating in excess of $10million in annual revenue and rising.

To continue to meet the demands of the global market and of our customers, Yokogawa Marex has been rapidly expanding over recent years, and have significantly increased the number of staff working on the development, promotion and selling of Exaquantum. This has created job opportunities on the Isle of Wight, and the company are constantly on the lookout for talented software engineers who are keen to adapt and develop their skills with our experienced teams who are vital for the success of Yokogawa Marex.
