An afternoon of live music at Trinity Theatre in Cowes on Sunday (15th February) will raise funds for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Music lovers are invited to a special charity concert at Trinity Theatre, bringing together musicians from across the Isle of Wight and the UK mainland for an afternoon of spectacular entertainment.
The programme will feature themes and compilations from famous musicals, films and TV shows, performed by a specially assembled band made up of players from a range of marching and concert bands. The ensemble will be conducted by the much-admired Rich Sharp.
The event is being held in memory of the late Roy Jackson, a hugely respected and much-loved figure within the Island’s marching band community, who played an integral role in its development over many years.
Also appearing on the afternoon’s line-up will be vocalist Kerry Burke, performing alongside one of the band’s talented flautists.
A raffle will be held to help raise additional funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, with all proceeds from ticket and raffle sales donated to the charity.
Doors will open at 13:30, with the concert starting at 14:00.
