UPDATED: Keys to several vehicles have been stolen overnight following a break-in at a well known Shanklin garage.
Police are this morning (Thursday) investigating the incident at Wiltons on Sandown Road, where it is understood multiple keys to vehicles stored at the address have been stolen. It is currently unclear if any vehicles have been taken during the break-in, although it has been confirmed that cash has been stolen.
As reported by Island Echo earlier this morning, there has been a large Police presence at the scene with officers searching the area nearby. CCTV footage is being reviewed.
It is understood the theft occurred between 05:30 and 06:00 this morning.
