A 28-year-old woman has been arrested following reports of a collision near Newport late last night (Sunday).
Police were called at 23:55pm to Yarmouth Road, to a report that a Black Peugeot 308 had careered into a hedge on the side of the road.
The 28-year-old, from Ryde, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drunk driving and she remains in police custody at this time.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that no one was injured in the crash.
