BUS TRANSPORT INFORMATION

festivalbus400The Island’s bus operator Southern Vectis are operating a variety of shuttle bus services both to and from the Festival site between Thursday and Monday.

A single adult fare is set to cost £6.00 from or to any port (Ryde, East/West Cowes and Yarmouth) to the Festival site, with Under 19s costing just £3.00. From Newport Bus Station, an adult single fare is £3.50 with Under 19s costing £2.00

  • Thursday at 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, 07:30, 08:00, 08:30, 09:00 and then at frequent intervals until 19:00 and then every 30 minutes until 01:00.
  • Friday at 07:00, 07:30, 08:00, 08:30, 09:00 and then at frequent intervals until 19:00 and then every 30 minutes until 01:00.
  • Saturday at 08:00 then every 15 minutes until 19:00 and then every 30 minutes until 01:00.
  • Sunday at 08:00 then every 15 minutes until 19:00 and then every 30 minutes until 01:00.

From Festival site to Ryde 

  • Thursday-Sunday at 07:30, 08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 09:30 and then at frequent intervals until 19:30 and then every 30 minutes until 01:30.
  • In addition, buses will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday NIGHTS only at 01:30, 02:30 and 03:30 to Ryde (via East Cowes on Friday and Saturday night only), continuing to St. Helens, Bembridge and Brading on request.
  • Monday at 07:00 then at frequent intervals until 12:00 and then every 20 minutes until 14:00.

  • Thursday at 07:30 and then every 60 minutes until 19:30.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 08:30 and then every 60 minutes until 20:30.

From Festival site to East Cowes 

  • Thursday at 08:00 and then every 60 minutes until 19:00.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 07:00 and then every 60 minutes until 00:00.
  • Also on Friday, Saturday and Sunday NIGHTS only at 01:30, 02:30 and 03:30.
  • Monday at 07:00 and then every 20 minutes until 14:00.

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 08:00 and then every 20 minutes until 01:00.

From Festival Site to Cowes

  • Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 08:40 and then every 20 minutes until 01:00 and then 01:45, 02:45 and 03:45.
  • Monday at 07:00 and then every 20 minutes until 14:00.

  • Thursday at 07:40, 08:40 and then every 40 minutes 18:10.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 08:00 and then every 40 minutes until 16:00.

From Festival Site to Yarmouth

  • Thursday at 08:10, 09:10 and then every 40 minutes until 17:40.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 08:40 and then every 40 minutes until 16:40.
  • Monday at 07:10 and then every 40 minutes until 13:10 and then 14:00.

  • Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 08:00 then every 30 minutes until 10:00 and then every 15 minutes until 19:00.
  • Saturday at 08:00 then every 30 minutes until 10:00 and then every 15 minutes until 20:00.

From Festival Site to Newport

  • Thursday at 10.30 and then every 30 minutes until 13:00 and then every 15 minutes until 19:00.
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 07:00, 07:30, 08:00 and then every 30 minutes until 10:00 and then every 15 minutes until 19:00. After 19:00 every evening there will be services at various times until the early hours of the following morning operated by shuttle buses going to other Island locations.

English National Concessionary Cards and Islander Cards are not valid on any shuttle bus service. In addition, there are no NUS or student concessions on shuttle bus fares for passengers aged 19+.

Valid Rover and Freedom tickets are accepted on shuttle bus services and valid shuttle bus tickets sold by Hovertravel, Redfunnel and Wightlink are accepted for one single shuttle bus journey in each direction to and from any port to the Festival site.
