Police have confirmed that the discovery of a body in Ventnor this afternoon (Monday) is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers responded to an address on Albert Street at around 14:00 following reports of the discovery of a man’s body.
Local residents have reported seeing a smashed window at the front of the property in question, where it is understood forced entry was made.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that the death of a man in his 30s is not being treated as suspicious.
A file is being prepared for the coroner.
