The long-awaited reveal of the Saturday headliner came this morning (Friday) when it was announced live on air on Absolute Radio to thousands of eager festival fans, although the headline act was leaked on Twitter beforehand.
The announcement hasn’t disappointed fans, who will see the Parklife singers, who formed in 1988, perform at Seaclose Park on 13th June.
Isle of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings has said:
“I’m a huge fan of blur and have always wanted to bring them to the Isle of Wight Festival so I’m really pleased we’ve finally done it! I know they’re going to blow the crowd away on the Saturday night – see you down the front!”
