ASDA has issued a precautionary product recall for its 160g packs of Hot & Spicy Chicken Breast Slices after it was discovered that the product has been packaged with an incorrect use-by date.
The supermarket chain is asking customers who have purchased the affected item not to eat it and to return it to any ASDA store for a full refund.
The issue relates specifically to the 160g packs of Hot & Spicy Chicken Breast Slices, which may pose a health risk if consumed past the correct shelf life. The product has been withdrawn from sale, and point-of-sale notices are now being displayed in ASDA stores nationwide, including those on the Isle of Wight.
