35-year-old Louis Fletcher has been jailed for raping a woman on the Isle of Wight. Fletcher assaulted the woman – who was known to him – at an address in Ryde on the evening of 15th March 2021, after she had made it clear verbally, several times, that she did not want to have sex with him. A lengthy investigation was launched by Police, with officers obtaining text messages between Fletcher and the victim after the attack. It was in these texts that Fletcher indicated that he understood at the time that the woman had not consented. Louis Fletcher, formerly of Cheltenham Road, Paulsgrove in Portsmouth, was charged with rape in December 2021 but continued to deny the offence. The case went to trial at Newport Crown Court in August last year, with the jury finding him guilty of rape. Appearing at Winchester Crown Court yesterday (Monday), he was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He was also ordered to sign on to the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely. DC Graham Skull of Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has said:
“I want to commend the woman for having the courage to report this to police, and for the bravery that she has continued to show throughout the investigation and court process. “There was evidence in this case which highlighted that Fletcher was aware the woman was not consenting. Despite this, he continued with his sexual advances which culminated in him raping the woman. “This behaviour is appalling, and has a long-lasting impact on survivors. Fletcher will now spend a number of years in prison, and I hope that this result reassures those affected by sexual abuse that we take these allegations very seriously, and will do everything in our power to support victims and take action against perpetrators.”

And the REASON the prisons are so overcrowded is because we have a constant flotilla and other means of the worlds criminals as well as our own using our weak laws and overly soft and generous ‘benefit’ system to attract the wrong sort here now.
Life here for you children will be very much worse than your own, THAT isn’t right and pre this mass influx, living standards and quality of life had been getting better for all.
Now the system is overloaded by outsiders who have not had generations paying in, so just use our ancestors suffering to better their lot at the cost of our childrens lives.

He’ll be a target in prison until he’s moved to a sex offender unit, probably on the island, even then he will need to be looking over his shoulder constantly.
