Island League Champions Whitecroft & Barton have climbed to 3rd place in Division 1 and maintained their 100% record in the season so far after a comfortable 4-0 victory over Northwood St Johns at fortress Sandy Lane.
W&B led 3-0 at halftime with their goals coming from Matt Evans, Joe Rayner and Oli Wilson. After the halftime interval, the champions took their foot off the gas pedal before adding a 4th goal courtesy of Aidan Sainsbury.

“I thought we played really well in the first half and created a lot of good chances, with their goalkeeper making some good saves. We managed to get through the second half without any real trouble and got a deserved 4th.
“It was nice to have 4 different goal scorers, Credit to Northwood for battling until the end and also to Ali Taylor who refereed the game really well.”

Bembridge lead Island League 1 on goal difference with 13 points from 6 games. Shanklin, who were without a game on Saturday, are in 2nd place but have a game in hand.
Bembridge beat Oakfield 3-1 at Steyne Park. Ben Field headed in the first goal for the home side from a corner. Shem Michail then scored a brace to put Bembridge 3-0 up. Louis Strickland got a second-half consolation goal for Oakfield.

“I’m really happy with the 3 points today to continue our good start. We were not at our best, and with a few players out we had to move things around.
“We were 3 – 0 up at half time. In the second half we took our foot off the gas and got a little complacent, but I always felt we were in control.”
Cowes Sports Reserves are in 4th place in Division 1 after beating bottom club, Sandown and Lake, 1-2 at the Fairway Sports Complex, courtesy of a brace from Darren Williams.
Brading Town were held to a goalless draw at Vicarage Lane by Binstead. Goalkeeper, Ben Gearing, was the hero for the Romans, superbly saving a penalty from Sam Hart 10 minutes from full time.
Niton have recorded their 1st win of the season, beating Vectis 3-2 at Nine Acres.
In Division 2, Pan Sports have climbed to 2nd place on goal difference after beating Osborne Coburg 0-9 at Northwood Rec.
Former Newport midfielder, Mark Taylor, scored a hat-trick and has now knocked in 15 goals in just 6 games for Pan. Ross Lacey also scored a hat-trick, Jack Davies a brace and Ash Gulliver a single goal.
Wootton are 3rd after beating bottom club, Wroxall, 6-0 at Wootton Rec. High Park are 4th after a 2-0 home win against Ventnor. East Cowes Sports, who went without a game on Saturday, currently lead Division 2 with 15 points from 6 games. Pan, Wootton and High Park all have 13 points from their 6 games.
Shanklin Reserves are the early leaders of Combination 1 after beating Sandown & Lake Reserves 5-1 in the Bay Derby at the County Ground.
The Shanklin scorers were Ollie Fleming, Cory Sanderson, Oli Frost, Jack Hill and Jamie Trowbridge.
The performance of the day in Combination 2 came from newly formed Bembridge A, who won their 1st competitive game 1-10 against Newchurch. Julian Conway (father of Cowes Sports’ Jez Conway) scored a hat-trick for Bembridge. The other scorers for the away side were: Aaron Hartup (3), Lewis Parker-Meadows, Andrew Bennett, Joel Preston and Paul Wilkinson.
