4-WEEK VEHICLE RESTRICTION ON WIGHTLINK’S YARMOUTH ROUTE

wightlinkyarmouthferryWightlink have this evening (Friday) announced that motorists face up to 4 weeks of disruption on the Yarmouth to Lymington route with restrictions on the type of vehicle able to travel.

From Thursday (15th January) the service will not be able to transport low vehicles, trailers, coaches, vehicles weighing more than 26 tons, lorries with overhangs or steps or articulated lorries.

The restriction will be in place for up to 4 weeks due to planned maintenance work on the Yarmouth loading ramp, which means a temporary ramp will be used instead.
