Isle of Wight youngster Thomas Luke will be performing a piano recital at All Saints Church in Ryde this Saturday (21st August), alongside fellow talented pianist Shutian Cheng.
Last year Thomas won the keyboard category final of the BBC’s Young Musician competition. He is now a student of Eleanor Hodgkinson at the Junior Royal Academy of Music.
Shutian studies piano with Professor Christopher Elton of the Royal Academy of Music, whilst also being a music scholar at Westminster School, London.
The event ‘Music for a Summer’s Evening’ gets underway at 19:30.
Admission is free with a retiring collection for church funds.
