UPDATED: Copse Lane in Freshwater has been closed by Police in both directions following a 2-car collision.
2 ambulances, a Co-Responder and Police are all on scene in the West Wight, where a white Seat Ibiza and a purple VW Caddy have collided.
It is thought the female occupants of the VW have sustained injuries. The driver of the Seat is said to be in shock.
The incident occurred at around 15:20.
Motorists are being diverted locally.
UPDATE @ 16:56 – The incident has now been cleared.
The vehicles have been recovered by Stag Lane Motors.
