A 13-year-old boy from Ryde is to appear before the courts later today (Wednesday) charged with over 20 offences including drug possession, theft, assault and burglary crimes.
It is alleged that on dates between 28th June and 10th November, the boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – committed a range of offences including stealing over £400 from shops in Ryde, squirting water in the face of a WH Smith employee, assault by beating and for causing a nuisance at his school.
As well as those offences, he has also been charged with burglary from WH Smith and racial/religious aggravated intentional harassment. It was also alleged that he was in possession of cannabis on no fewer than 3 occasions when stopped by Police.
As previously reported by Island Echo, the 13-year-old boy and 2 others – aged 14 and 16 – were charged by Police on Sunday 13th November.
The teen will appear at the Isle of Wight Youth Court alongside the 2 other teenagers this morning.

Stick him in a cell with a real criminal, a hardened criminal. Oh yes you can’t do that, something to do with human rights apparently. He didn’t show any for the people he attacked and stole from though did he!!!!

Quite obviously has not had a loving, caring upbringing by his parents. Children must be taught right from wrong and respect from an early age. Good parenting classes needed here I think!
Hate to think what the parent(s) like / Druggie maybe ?? alcoholic maybe… so sad these people that have children but cannot be bothered to look after them .. just letting them go viral.. this boys parent/guardian or whatever should also be charged..

For those of us that pay our taxes, it’s so heartening to know that we’ve bankrolled these little shits, education, benefits, more than likely housing etc etc.
And we have the rest of their rotten lives to pay for as well no doubt.
And to think of all those poor kittens and puppies thrown into the canals over the years. Shame these useless pieces of flesh cant be disposed of the same way.
