The Met Office have this morning (Friday) issued a yellow weather warning for strong winds from tomorrow morning until Sunday evening.
A blustery weekend is expected with winds strengthening from the west on Saturday morning. Gusts around coastlines exposed to the westerly or southwesterly winds could reach 60mph at times with inland gusts reaching up to 55mph.
The wind is expected to further strengthen from the west on Sunday where gusts around western coasts could reach 60-70mph.
The weather warning is in place from 09:00 tomorrow morning (Saturday) until 18:00 Sunday.
