First, second and booster jabs will be available to Islanders at Westridge Centre in Ryde this coming Saturday, without the need to book an appointment.
Walk-ins will be welcomed between 09:00 and 15:00 on Saturday 11th December, with the potential for further pop-up clinics next week.
You don’t have to live in the East Wight to attend Westridge, but there are some eligibility criteria.
First or Second Jabs
• Open to anyone living on the Isle of Wight aged 18+
Booster Jabs
• Open to anyone living on the Isle of Wight aged 40+ who had their second jab more than 3 months ago
There is no need to book an appointment, simply turn up and wait. Queues are expected.

It’s a little out of the way. If vaccines become mandatory will there be a direct train line to it?
Westridge at Ryde did a fantastic job on Saturday. Many people queued before 9am, which was the time they started but the queue went down very quickly. Excellent job and well done to all those people who were/are involved at Westridge. COVID vaccinations are so important. It literally only takes seconds to have the injection.
