A local community group are wanting to hear from anyone who uses the play park in Nelson Road in Newport to ascertain what people would ideally like to see if the area was revamped.
The Nelson Road Park Community Group, which formed this time last year, has already held a number of ‘stay and play’ family sessions in the park and has met with IDVerde, a play park specialist, to discuss possible installations.
The hope is that renovations could include specialist play equipment for children with disabilities, with the aim of making the area a better space for everyone to enjoy.
