VECTIS HISTORIC VEHICLE CLUB RAISE OVER £600 FOR MOUNTBATTEN


The Vectis Historic Vehicle Club showed love for Mountbatten IW last week when they presented a cheque for over £600 on Valentine’s Day.

Each Christmas, members of the club dress up in Christmas-themed costumes as they parade their cars in St Thomas Square in Newport, to raise vital funds for Mountbatten Hospice.

2018’s efforts saw £609.44 collected on 22nd December.

The money was officially presented to Dani Johnson, Community Events Organiser for Mountbatten, by club Chair Christine Batchelor last week.

Over the past 10 years more than £30,000 has been raised by the Vectis Historic Vehicle Club at various events.
