A mother from Newport – who has denied assaulting another woman outside a dance studio in Ryde – will see her case go to trial later this year. 35-year-old Harriet Martin, of Home Meade, denied assault by beating when she appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on Tuesday (2nd April). Martin is alleged to have assaulted another female outside a studio on Rink Road in Ryde. The case has been adjourned until 27th June when a trial will take place at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court. Harriet Martin has been granted unconditional bail until that time.
