ITV’s This Morning and Loose Women stars Josie Gibson and Jeff Brazier are hoping to find their beach paradise on the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Thursday) and again on Friday.
As the Island basks in the summer sun, ITV’s cameras will be here to film a series of live competition segments for their flagship daytime shows.
On Thursday and Friday, the well-known faces will be trying out a variety of beach and water activities, while sampling some of the Isle of Wight’s well-known food and drink.
Heading to Sandown and Ventnor, Josie and Jeff will also be chatting with locals and visitors, including artists and performers here for the Ventnor Fringe which launches on Friday.
The ITV competitions team will be showcasing some of the incredible activities and scenery the Island has to offer.
Cant say i recognise that picture. Seeing that, with those ugly modern buildings, it looks like somewhere you’d expect to see on the mainland or in some ultra modern place. It’s a shame the Island can’t be more marketed as a peaceful and rather quaint area to “get away” from all that kind of ugly structure.

Let’s hope they’re selective in where they film! People won’t want to visit the island if they see what a dump most of our towns have become or how poorly the roads are maintained if you can actually drive around them given that they are fast becoming ‘car park’s’ due to sheer volume of vehicles. In addition the infrastructure is just diabolical. I bet they won’t speak to ‘really people but ‘selected’ individuals. Let’s not get real opinions eh of what it’s like to be a prisoner, I mean, resident on the island, held to ransome by the council and ferry companies.
