PHOTOS: SUNSHINE DRAWS OUT THE CROWDS FOR 2019 CLASSIC CAR EXTRAVAGANZA


Hundreds of classic, quirky and eye-catching cars descended on the Isle of Wight at the weekend for the annual International Classic Car Extravaganza.

Late summer sunshine resulted in thousands of people venturing out to explore the wonderful array of cars on display at Newport Quay on Saturday and Ryde Esplanade on Sunday.

Graham Cole, best known for his role as PC Tony Stamp in the long-running TV drama The Bill, was a guest judge in Ryde on Sunday alongside Mayor of Ryde Michael Lilley and Councillor Karen Lucioni. Cars stretched from Superbowl all the way to the east end of the Canoe Lake.

The free event, organised by Vic Gallucci, raises much-needed funds for the Island’s very own Mountbatten Hospice and the IW Round Table.
