The Isle of Wight’s Starlight Boutique is celebrating success at the BDO South West Street Dance Championships in Chippingham.
A large group of local dancers, aged 6 to 15, headed over to the mainland on Sunday 6th October. A fantastic day was had by all with a number of awards secured…
The Under 8s category came away with 1st place, as did the first Under 12s team. The second Under 12s team clinched 3rd place.
There was 4th place success for the Under 10s team and 2nd place for the Under 14s.
Lois Bunce took 6th place and Cameron Churchill was on the podium with a 3rd place win in the Under 10s solo competition.
Liberty came 5th in the Under 12s solo and in the Under 8s duets Starlight received a 6th, 4th, 3rd and 1st place.
I’m the under 12yrs we received, 4th place, 3rd place and 2nd place and in the under 14years we came away with 4th and 3rd place.

The high scoring of some of the Starlight Boutique teams means they quality for the World Championships in December.
A spokesperson for Starlight Boutique has said:
