The Met Office have once again issued a severe weather warning for the Isle of Wight, alerting local residents of the possibility of snow and ice throughout the remainder of today (Saturday) and into tomorrow morning.
Whilst areas of Scotland will see up to 25cm of snowfall, here in the South there is the chance of occasional snow showers with potential for 2-3 cm of snowfall at low levels.
On Thursday a similar weather warning was issued, with the Isle of Wight seeing some short lived snow showers.
Forecasters say icy patches are likely and the public should be aware of the risk of disruption due to snow and ice.
The warning is in force from 13:00 today until midday tomorrow.
