Customers of O2, GiffGaff, Sky Mobile and Tesco Mobile are without mobile phone signal in Ventnor today (Tuesday) due to a fault with a local mast.
Those living and working in Ventnor are reporting difficulties making and receiving calls and texts, as well as using the internet.
O2 say they are aware of the situation and engineers are working to investigate and fix the issue. They say they are working as fast as they can.
There is currently no estimated time of completion for the repairs.
This has been going on since Saturday, extremely unhelpful as most of us tend not to have landlines

Perhaps whilst they are fixing the mast the Vodafone signal can be sorted again for Upper Ventnor. Fine down in the town but abysmal in Upper Ventnor.
Vodafone brags they have got the best coverage, not on the ISLAND they haven’t.
Cripes, drug dealing will be down then. Cold Turkey for many.
