SECOND SINGLE RELEASE FOR ISLE OF WIGHT’S SUMMER KING


Summer King, a final year Commercial Music degree student at Platform One, is releasing her second single ‘Blame Me’ tomorrow (Friday).

The rising Isle of Wight singer, who performs under the name Roni, has co-written the track in the studio at Newport with Emma Johnson.

Speaking about the new release, Summer says:

“Blame me was written at a time in a relationship where I felt everything was my fault and I couldn’t do anything right, or anything to save the relationship from failing.

“It’s an electro pop tune, which is one of my favourite genres generally. I am inspired by artists such as Ariana Grande, Tayla Parx, and Christina Aguilera.

“I am so excited to release this tune on Friday!”

Blame Me will be available for download and on major streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and YouTube.
