A male motorcyclist is receiving treatment from paramedics this afternoon (Wednesday) after being involved in a collision with a car in Ryde.
The incident has occurred at the junction of George Street and Melville Street and has involved a silver scooter and a silver VW Golf.
Police were called to the scene at around 16:30, with a rapid response paramedic arriving around 20 minutes later.
The road remains open.
Earlier this afternoon Police responded to a crash between a red Citroen C1 and a silver BMW 5-series on St Mary’s Roundabout, Newport. The incident has since been cleared.
