Staff and customers at The Salix Cafe near Shanklin have helped raise funds for Sandown & Shanklin Independent Lifeboat.
A total of £220 has recently been handed over to the life-saving charity, which is situated at the opposite end of the Sandown to Shanklin revetment to The Salix Cafe.
Mark Birch, Operations Manager of Sandown and Shanklin Independent Lifeboat said:
“We are extremely grateful to all your staff and customers that have helped raise £220 in our collection pot.
“As you may be aware, we rely totally on public donations and fundraising. Your money will help keep this vital voluntary front line emergency service running 365 days per year, so we can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support”.
