It may seem like any other Saturday for most, but for 11-year-old Nicholas Gregory from Ryde today marked the opportunity of a lifetime as he got to walk out of the tunnel at Wembley to mascot for the Tottenham Hotspurs vs Newcastle United football match.
Nicholas absolutely loves football and is a junior member of Spurs. As part of his membership, Nicholas was given the sought-after opportunity of accompanying his favourite players out onto the pitch in front of thousands of fans both at the stadium and at home watching television.
The Hobbs travelled up to London last night (Friday) and spent this morning with the team before sitting down for lunch at the world famous stadium.
Shortly before kick off at 12:30, Nicholas entered centre stage as he walked out of the tunnel and onto the pitch in front of his excited family, as captured on video below.
The Haylands Primary School pupil will no doubt be excitedly telling all of his friends at school on Monday how he spent his weekend, especially as Tottenham won the match 1-0.
