A 61-year-old man from Ryde has appeared in court charged with possessing 29 extreme pornographic images showing sexual intercourse with animals, including dogs and horses.
Richard Younie, of Sutton Close, has been charged with possessing extreme pornographic images portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal.
The downloaded images are said to have portrayed, in an explicit way, a person performing an act of intercourse with a live animal, including a dog, donkey and horse.
No plea was entered and the case has been sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court for 6th September. Mr Younie was granted unconditional bail.
